Playa Balandra, Baja, Mexico

Another great beach in the La Paz area is Playa Balandra. We made an unexpected pitstop here to waste away a few hours. We carry our beach umbrella, REI chairs, and beach bag with us almost everywhere we go. It was a beautiful afternoon and the water is shallow for 500m, so the girls had great fun romping out to the middle of the bay on their own. Heidi collected about ten hermit crabs from the rocks alongshore as pets, but we returned them to their rightful homes before departing.
