Museo Trompo Magico, Guadalajara, Mexico

We visited Trompo Magico which is a children's museum and the girls had the place to themselves on this random Wednesday in May. A beautiful collection of decorated trunks from each of the states of Mexico was on display in their gallery and the girls got to see the wide variety of artwork, crafts, and traditions from the thirty-two states. They had wonderful hands-on experiments for the senses, a great area dedicated to music where we attended a drumming session, and we even recorded our own television interview in their TV station. Best of all, we got to pet some lovely two month old pups in the parking lot. The guards offered to give them to us for free, but we decided that a young pup and a long trip back to Calgary are not a good combination.
