Since May is the hottest month of the year in Jalisco, we decided to drive up into the mountains for a day of horseback riding. Lucie and Rolf joined us to explore the massive boulders left behind from the glaciers. The girls loved the cool mountain air and the pine trees which were so different from the desert and jungle landscapes we had just left behind. It was a wonderful outing with calm horses and good company.
