Although our friends have personally seen Will Ferrell and Mathew McConaughy jogging down this strip of beach, we didn't see anyone famous during our visit to Zuma Beach in Malibu. We had the perfect weather for a day at the beach, but a nasty rip current meant that the girls could only swim with Mark holding their hands. Despite the gorgeous blue water and beautiful sandy beach, we found blobs of tar stuck to our wetsuits and our feet. They only came off our skin with twenty minutes of serious sand exfoliation and never fully came out of the wetsuits. For such a place of natural beauty, it is sad that oil spills have marred this pristine landscape.
