Crescent Beach, Port Angeles, WA

After a few days in the mountains of Mount Rainier National Park, we decided to head to the beach! Crescent Beach is a beautiful strip of flat, sand just outside of Port Angeles, WA. Time was spent exploring tide pools, walking down the beach and collecting hermit crabs and scuds for pets.(Don't worry, we set everyone free after a few hours of captivity!)

Mark picked up his 15 foot aluminum boat in Port Angeles, but it would be a few days before we were able to try it out in the Pacific.

Stunning sunsets, lots of space to let the girls roam free and a pair of bald eagles on display every afternoon made our time here a memorable one.
