Beaches of Nayarit, Mexico
One of Mark's closest friends made a surprise trip to the beach to spend the weekend with us and we were reunited with the three best men from our wedding thirteen years and ten children later. The kids chased hundreds of seabirds from the sand-packed beach of Nuevo Vallarta at sunset. They were soaked, but delighted and even the adults were amazed by the spectacular skies and abundant wildlife. The following day we left the all-inclusive resorts behind and hiked through the mangrove swamps to emerge on a pristine white sand beach. The kids frolicked in the waves and built castles in the sand during our lovely lazy Sunday at the beach of Las Lanchas near Punta de Mita.
