After leaving El Rosario, we followed the twists and turns of the main highway which leads through the other worldly landscape of Catavina. The hills of dry, desert shrubs transform to an area filled with massive granite boulders and a wide variety of cacti. It’s a photographer’s dream, so we stopped to snap a few photos before continuing south to Guerrero Negro.
