Here we sit on the shores of Kluane Lake in Kluane National Park in the Yukon. Last night we witnessed the calm, quiet waters of this massive lake which is the largest in the Yukon. This morning, we awoke to sunshine and howling winds which showed a very different side of the lake.
We decided to spend an extra day here, after the girls made new friends last night. They played for a few hours on the rocky beach, enjoyed a game of mini-golf and made promises to see their new friends right after breakfast this morning. They need time with their own kind, as do we. They have been playing together all morning while we update the blog and it has been good for everyone.
